How does the Xpand Kinetic Band work?
The Kinetic Band improves the process of transferring energy to your strokes. This method was widely recognized when it was used by Marco Panichi, Djokovic's long-time fitness coach. The extra rotational resistance forces you to stabilize more through your core and you become more aware of your body, known as proprioception, i.e. the sense of where your body is in relation to your surroundings. This proprioceptive feedback is strongest where the band passes your hip and shoulder. With extra feedback in these areas, you can then focus intensely on allowing the energy to pass freely up to your hips, through to your shoulder and into your stroke. Additionally, when attached to a fence, the kinetic band creates resistance and pulls you backwards.
