Technologies:

ISOMETRIC - Yonex’s signature technology since 1980. This technology, which provides greater control without sacrificing power, was developed over 30 years ago. The ISOMETRIC™ design increases the sweet spot by 7%*. Compared to a conventional round frame, a square ISOMETRIC™ racket creates a larger sweet spot by optimizing the intersection of the main and cross strings. *Tested by Yonex

O.P.S. (OVAL PRESSED SHAFT) - First introduced in 1969 with the T-7000, Yonex’s first aluminum tennis racket. This technology is still incorporated into the Ezone, Yonex’s most popular racket series. The Oval Pressed Shaft is designed to give players more spin, control, and feel. The shaft flexes upon ball contact, which increases dwell time and minimizes vibrations.

VDM (VIBRATION DAMPENING MESH) - First used in Yonex snowboards to reduce vibrations caused by impacts, it is now used in several of Yonex’s racquet series. VDM is a stretchy mesh material that is wrapped around the graphite in the grip to filter out unwanted vibrations and improve feel and precision.

2G-NAMD™ SPEED - For improved feel and ball speed without sacrificing comfort. Designed to deliver flex and power, this technology is developed from high-modulus graphite fibers bonded with CNTs, resulting in a material that transfers energy for a fast snapback. Namd™ is a technology developed by Nitta Co., Ltd. to evenly distribute carbon nanotubes in carbon fiber composites.

MINOLON -Theunique Minolon material is sandwiched between the shaft’s graphite plates. Minolon* consists of ultra-fine fibers woven into a mesh-like structure. Its soft, smooth texture provides a plush feel, making every shot on the course a delight. *MINOLON is a material developed by Kowa Company, Ltd.

SHAFT DESIGN - For improved stability and power. A thicker shaft structure with a convex design reduces unwanted racket torque on off-center hits for extra power.

AERO SHAPE DESIGN - For a soft and comfortable feel. A tapered frame design with a thinner frame surface that results in a softer racket.

SHOCKLESS GROMMETS - Integrated into the sides and bottom of the frame to minimize muscle fatigue and provide a soft feel upon ball contact, protecting the wrist, forearm, and elbow by absorbing shocks.

LINER TECH - For improved power and comfort. Straight-hole grommets extend the strings to optimize power and comfort on shots outside the sweet spot.
